ActionsPrinciples for Financial Benchmarks
The International Organization of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO”) is a global body comprised of representatives from the world’s financial regulators. In 2013 IOSCO produced a set of principles on governance, the quality of benchmark determinations, the quality of the methodologies used, and the accountability of the benchmark administrator.
In alignment with published IOSCO Principles for Financial Benchmarks, Saudi Exchange Company publishes a Statement of Compliance with respect to the recommendations made by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) in the Principles for Financial Benchmarks Final Report (the IOSCO Principles).
Saudi Exchange fully embraces the IOSCO Principles and endorses IOSCO’s objective to address conflicts of interest in the benchmark-setting process, enhance the reliability of benchmark determinations, and promote transparency and openness.
